ERC Advanced Grant awarded to research on metal fuels

What great news. Yesterday, the European Research Council (ERC) awarded fourteen Advanced Grants to Dutch institutions. Such a grant can amount to 2.5 million euros. The TU/e also received one and it went to professor Philip de Goey, dean of Mechanical Engineering, for research into metal fuels. An interview coming soon in which he explains exactly where the European money will be spent.
